Stonewall Sports Kansas City, founded in 2019, is a non-profit sports organization that fosters inclusivity for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies while also raising funds for local non-profit organizations. It proudly stands as the 19th chapter of the national Stonewall Sports organization, which originated in Washington, D.C., in 2010. Stonewall Sports Kansas City has united thousands of individuals through social sports and has contributed to LGBTQ+ philanthropic partners across the country.

At Stonewall Sports Kansas City, they envision a world where everyone can participate in organized sports while feeling entirely comfortable being themselves. They cherish and respect each player for their unique identity and their positive impact on our community. They firmly believe that organized communities have both the capacity and the responsibility to support those in need.

I have been having fun with Stonewall Sports for several seasons, and I’ve loved every moment. They create a welcoming and inclusive environment that allows you to connect with new people and spend quality time with friends. It’s not limited to traditional sports either; they offer a diverse array of leagues, including billiards, trivia, pickleball, volleyball, and kickball.
