Queer Bar Takeover
Every second Saturday of the month, Queer Bar Takeover transforms a typically straight bar in Kansas City, into an open and inviting space for the LGBTQ+ community. Pride flags drape the bar, special drink deals are arranged, and the dance floor is cleared to dance the night away. Their objective is to foster a secure and inclusive environment where people can openly express themselves and revel in an unforgettable experience.
I look forward to this event every month! Going to Queer Bar Takeover is a way for the LGBTQ+ community to experience KC in this amazing new way. You may have been to these spaces before but, not like this. The community shows up ready to have fun and looking good.
