Madeline dedicated over a decade of her career to practicing civil rights law, including five years running her own private practice. As one of Missouri’s pioneering openly transgender lawyers, she has been unwavering in her commitment to championing the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals who have suffered injustices. It was during her journey that she crossed paths with Alex, and they quickly discovered that their shared passion for the queer community was a powerful alignment. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become Missouri Kansas Queer Law.
